Bringing Clean Water to Nigeria: Empowering Communities Through Sustainable Solutions
Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, and Humanity First Canada has been addressing water scarcity in Nigeria through its Water for Life program. In recent years, we have installed over 110 hand pumps and water wells in remote villages, providing safe drinking water to thousands of people.
These water solutions have drastically reduced waterborne diseases and freed women and children from the daily burden of fetching water from distant, often contaminated sources. By offering maintenance training alongside these installations, Humanity First ensures that communities remain self-sufficient and resilient.
