Providing Clean Water in Cameroon: Transforming Lives Through the Water for Life Program
Access to clean and safe water remains a challenge in many parts of Cameroon. Humanity First Canada’s Water for Life program has been instrumental in providing sustainable solutions to this pressing issue. To date, over 400 water wells and hand pumps have been installed across Cameroon, ensuring reliable access to safe drinking water for thousands of families.
These water projects have significantly reduced the prevalence of waterborne diseases and alleviated the daily burden on women and children who previously traveled long distances to fetch water. By offering training on maintaining these water systems, Humanity First empowers communities to sustain these resources, fostering independence and long-term resilience.

Building Resilience After Landslides: Disaster Relief Efforts in Cameroon
Cameroon frequently faces natural disasters such as landslides and floods. In response to the destructive landslides in West Cameroon, Humanity First Canada provided immediate relief to over 500 individuals across affected villages. Our relief packages included food, hygiene supplies, clothing, and temporary shelter, offering essential support to displaced families.
Humanity First also collaborated with local organizations to assess and address the long-term needs of affected communities. By focusing on both immediate aid and rehabilitation, we are helping families recover and build resilience against future natural disasters.
